We have had lots of fun playing in the snow today!
We had some delicious hot chocolate to warm ourselves back up.
Our key worker children had fun playing in the snow and ice today.
We made snow angels, went ice skating, made snow cones and even painted in the snow!
We have had the best Christmas Party today.
We played games and danced all morning before sitting together for a delicious party lunch.
This afternoon we had some surprises: first of all we watched a really funny Pantomime and after that we had some surprise presents delivered by Santa’s elves.
What an exciting day it has been!
We had so much fun wearing our Christmas hats and completing our Santa Fun Run.
We warmed up to our favourite Jingle Bells dance and ran around the playground singing our favourite Christmas songs.
We had a wonderful day on our Polar Express Day.
We decorated our Christmas tree, made chocolate milk and enjoyed yummy biscuits.
We are well and truly in the Christmas spirit now!
This week we have been learning about Remembrance Day.
We have been thinking about all of the soldiers who lost their lives during the war and added our prayers to the Remembrance tree.
We learned about why we wear poppies and created our own poppy pictures.
We also learned about the animals who helped during the war and wrote sentences to explain how they helped.
“The dog had a cross on him and he helped the poorly soldiers.” – Macie.
“The pigeon carried the messages.” – Daisy.
“The horses helped carry the food. They had to walk for miles and miles.” – Emily.
“The dogs could smell the enemies.” – Thomas.
“They used glow worms for a light.” – Eva.
We have been doing so well learning our Mission Statement.
We have talked about how we are all unique and thought about ways in which we can let our light shine every day.
We painted our own pictures of Our Lady, Mary…
