In school, we follow the Internet Legends Online Safety curriculum. Below is information on how you can complete some activities with your child at home. There are also links to interactive online games for your child.
Class 4 enjoyed sharing their favourite books as part of World Book Day.
The boys and girls enjoyed a visit from the PDSA charity and took part in a work shop. They now know how to communicate with dogs! I’m sure they’ll be able to tell you all about it!
Class 4 had a great time this afternoon practising skills for the skipping festival.
In preparation for writing our story about an explosion of Mount Vesuvius, Class 4 worked together to complete a carousel of activities to find synonyms, similes, metaphors, amazing adjectives, subordinate clauses and describe the senses. We will use these in our stories.
We have been learning about solids, liquids and gases in Science. Our first investigation was to find out if gas has weight. We weighed three different types of fizzy drinks. Then we stirred them until they were left and weighed them again. The difference between the weight when fizzy and when flat, gave us the weight of the Carbon Dioxide inside the drink.
Class 4 have been learning about Conditions in programming. We have started creating a times tables quiz that will check to see if the answer is correct or not and perform an action. It was great fun.
A musical Wednesday afternoon with recorder practise, followed by using actions to find the pulse as part of listening and appraising of music.
