The whole school celebrated books and a love of reading on World Book Day. In addition to lots of reading and vocabulary activities, every child decorated their own T-shirt with their favourite books. As we recognise the importance of understanding and communication, we had a special focus on finding impressive vocabulary.
“Words unlock the doors to a world of understanding.”
Thank you to all families for helping us celebrate.

The whole school went to see the pantomime, Cinderella, on Tuesday. Everyone agreed that it was a brilliant show and a great build up to Christmas. We would like to say a big thank you to all our special helpers – we couldn’t have done to without you!
Our Class 5 and 6 went to the Beacon of Light to take part in a Samson’s Shoes competition. Huge congratulations to Brooklyn and Tia, who brought the trophy home, coming 1st overall.
