Book and Biscuit Morning
We’ve said goodbye to our chicks…
After a wonderful two weeks with our chicks, we have said our goodbyes today.
We have had such a magical experience watching them hatch from their eggs and grow into fluffy chicks. This week we have seen a huge difference in their size and they have even started to grow their first feathers.
We will really miss our little chicks but we are happy that they will be having fun at the farm.
Chick update…
We now have 7 baby chicks!
They have all fluffed up beautifully throughout the day and have been transferred into their brooder box and have been very happy and chirpy this afternoon.
The chicks are getting stronger and stronger and we will soon be able to help take care of them and maybe even have a little hold.
Baby chicks…
We have all voted and have named our chicks.
They are called Gus, Jo-Jo, Candy, Rosie and Lily.
We can’t wait for the chicks to become stronger over the new couple of days so that we can help to look after them.
Our newest members of the class…
What a lovely surprise we had this morning when the first of our chicks hatched.
We have been busy thinking of a name for our new baby chicks and we will have a vote this afternoon.
It is such an exciting time!
Warmer Weather
We are expecting warmer weather over the next few days.
Please ensure your child has suncream applied on a morning before they come to school.
Children should also have a sun hat and a water bottle in school so that they can enjoy the lovely weather safely.
Making smoothies with our Year 6 buddies…
Carnival Day…
What an amazing day we have had at our Carnival today.
We started the day by getting dressed in our costumes, which we had made ourselves, in school.
Then we paraded around the school with our streamers and instruments.
In the hall, we played lots of fun games and even had a Limbo competition!
We have had so much fun and haven’t stopped laughing and dancing all day long.
